Issue with Courtesy Fuse on 98 Suburban

I have a 98 Suburban. I am having an issue all of a sudden with the courtesy fuse blowing. It blows the second you put in a new fuse. I'm not sure what the issue could be. It was fine before then one day, gone.

Does anyone know what all this fuse controls so that I can begin tracing it? Are there common problems in Suburbans to look for?

Check the cigarette lighter.

You have a short in that fused circuit. You can download a diagram here that shows what circuits that fuse feeds. Also,a good place to start would be If you have worked on anything in those circuits. Interior lights for instance. https://www.gmt400.com/threads/88-98-service-manuals.43575/

If you still have your owners manual,it also has fuses locations and what the fuses control.

I did find the problem. I installed astro van sunvisors in the burb, and the pass side wire rubbed the metal in the roof. Instant short... Thanks for all the suggestions!
