So the vinyl was just not cutting it anymore, had stains from everything imaginable and was just disgusting and i could not stand it anymore. Not to mention the water it trapped under it, which started rusting out my floorboards.

so...

The makeover begins. It will consist of new carpet, painted peices, same color seats (if/when i can find grey buckets without paying a arm & leg), custom fiberglass counsel for my stereo system, sound deadner, and a few other goodies..

way to go. looks good. I kind of want to pull all my seats, and re do the carpet. It has vinyl floor now. Keep looking at junkyards, there is bound to be some grey seats. not that it means anything to you but there is this guy in toronto that is constantly just selling seats. So you'll find some. Good work man.

Thanks, Yeah I'm in ND so that is a ways. I'd look in salvage yards but around here all they are trying to do is rip you off.

Got a bit accomplished today...sound deadening is such a PITA.

Don't know what I was thinking when I made the hole for the shifter, that is going to bug me forever.
