Sweet project man.....youve given me the proper kick in the ass to make me remove the carpet, replace it and have a look at the floor. Cant wait to see the results!!! I did sound deadening in a buddys car.....I totally know where youre coming from.....that should be a form of torture for prisoners LOL.

Got a bit accomplished today...sound deadening is such a PITA.

alright second picture, what are those 2 light sockets for? i was running some wires under my carpet and found those, what are ther for?

They are lights for the 4wd selector. One with power when lights are turned on, other when 4wd is engaged.

Interior looks much better and cleaner now!!!

whats the point of them?

One of the lights light up when your 4wd is engaged, and the other bulb is always lit when the parking/headlight circut is on. The point of them is so you have a light to remind you if your in 4wd or not.
