Interesting odometer issue

So I took my cluster apart to put LEDs in. I got it all back together, and now my odometer occasionally switches between going forwards and backwards. Any ideas what I could have screwed up?

Are you saying your gauge selector switches between D and R? What year?

Make sure the connector plug for the odometer is seated correctly on the circuit board.
