intake swap

got a 92 chevy truck in trade, last owner kept elderblock manifold and carb. will a gm manifold and carb off 1985 chevy work on former tbi engine. has after market electric fuel pump. only asking be cause I have manifold and carb and plan to flip truck

You'll need to find an 87-95 specific intake manifold if the truck still has the stock TBI heads for a bolt on install. Other manifolds can work if you modify the mount holes but in my opinion it's more trouble than it's worth unless you have a used manifold lying around.
