I'm installing a filter for the power steering system. It is a directional filter and I don't know which way the fluid flows at the hydroboost booster. Can anyone fill me in?

Ive always heard to plumb it to the cooler return, as the return from the brake booster needs to have zero restriction or else it might hang the brakes slightly.

The line the returns to reservoir, it won't have high pressure fittings, hardware, it's low pressure return. Or if you have the power steering cooler, install in the line that returns to reservoir. That's where mine is installed.
