I wanted to tie the hitch to the bumper so I welded a nut to the hitch. Never weld or drill on a hitch, or so they say.

Good idea? I don't know. It just seemed like it might be stronger if I tied it in to the bumper.

My fuel pressure kept dropping. I would crank up the regulator, and a few days later it would drop again. I installed a new Delco high volume fuel pump and fuel filter. Seemed to fix the problem. The screen on the old pump was deteriorated badly.

By the way, removing the bed is the way to change a fuel pump. Made it very easy.
