Injector pod spacer

I got a 1/4 inch Injector Pod Spacer off eBay for $12.

Anything I should know about before I put this sucker in? I have a Airraid CAI and the TB spacer on my truck.
I am VERY skeptical of the 5-10 Hp increase claims!! I bet I wont feel a thing but for $12 shipped I want to experiment.
No ultimate TBI mods done (yet).

all done. It was easy to do. My truck has 289,*** miles on it.
I really can tell a small differnce in power and response well worth the $12 if you ask me!

Can I remove the darker hex stud things on the left and right? were they for stock air cleaner screws?
