What I like is the silver stripe on top of the molding that runs from wheel to wheel.

I like mine. Personally i think it makes a truck look too plain and your doors get at dinged up from other car doors without it. Although lots of people will disagree.

That is what it is there for. But after you either drop or lift a truck the molding is useless because it isn't in teh ideal location.
