Just wondering what some of you might do. These wheels look pretty disgusting. You can actually feel texture of all the crud on them, how should I go about this?

Take them to someone to refinish
Just give em a coat of paint
Take a wire wheel to them first before painting(seems like a bad idea)
Or something else

I feel like just a few coats of paint wouldn't look wonderful. I don't need them to look brand new but I would like them to be somewhat nice.

Several coats of air craft paint stripper and a power washer.
Any tips on doing that without dismounting the tires? Idk if the stripper would be safe on the tires or hitting the tire with the wand would do any damage. It's only a 2800 psi unit and I'd probably use a 25 degree nozzle

Isn’t that just crusty aluminum wheels? Not sure what aircraft stripper would do.

Don’t worry about the tires they will be fine. It usually take a few coats, spray it on and you will see the clear coat start to bubble after several minutes. Wash them with the pressure washer and repeat.
