Might be a stupid question, but will the efan works with turned off ignition?

No it should pull power off an ignition source.

Depends on how u wire it... I have it running off of a constant 12v... So it still cools the truck wen the key is out.. I only did it this way bcuz I couldn't find an ignition source I could tap a 10-18 gauge wire on to...
