The hood of my '96 Suburban sits about a 1/2" too low where it meets the base of the windshield and doesn't line up properly with the fenders. I believe the previous owner removed the hood at some point. The front of the hood sits fine. Is there a certain nut or bolt that I need to adjust to get the hood to sit evenly as it's supposed to? Thanks in advance.

Where the hood meets the hinge you could put a few shims in there, it would rise it up a bit

Put a small block of wood under the hinge portion where it would meet the cowl when it's closed. Carefully close the hood slightly, putting a bend in the hinge. Remove the block of wood and close the hood, check the gap. Repeat as necessary to make the hood line up with the height of the fender edge.

This is common when dealing with aftermarket fenders.
