Help me get this cam moving

I have to have my heads reworked due to a burnt valve. While im at it I want to go ahead and install a cam. I want something that will work with my heads or with minimal work. Im running 35"s and 3.73 gears so more power is a plus. What is a good option on a cam or a package that will require little work. the truck has 165k on it and will be my dd for some time. Id like power in the 0-4500 range or close to it.

What do you have? Any moods as far as heads? For what its worth the last one I used for a build was a comp cam xfi268. I had l98 heads that were set up for that though.

Call up Comp Cams... tell them what you have and what you expect and they will recomend you a cam to fit your needs.
i juat did the same and ordered a 08-305-8 for my 383.

Slap an LT4 hotcam in her. She'll be fine, and will sound good.
