I used Rust Olem High Heat from Home Depot about 3 years ago and it's still holding up good. They sell it for BBQs. I also use it on any trim I want a flat black because it lasts a long time before any fading occurs. Wiper arms etc.

I used VHT on my manifolds on the dually. I had good luck with some random grill paint eons ago.

On a motorcycle forum I'm on several of the guys have used John Deere muffler paint and swear it is the best stuff. No experience myself. Of course being "John Deere" it will be expensive. But, if it does the job it's wrth the money.
