I used some tongue and grove cypress (I think it's cypress anyway) my old man had left over and pieced it together in the bed.

Not trying to be silly (this time), but with all the advancements in flooring, would some of the high quality offerings work in this case? I mean, real wood/faux wood...you still have to baby it more than the factory steel floor. -if you want to keep it looking nice. It LOOKS beautiful in certain trucks, but I wouldn't be setting an old engine on a big used tire in a "pretty" bed.

In the project "Low and Slow" on Truck Tech they found wood grain looking aluminum floor boards the put in they early 60's ERA Chevy truck.
