Really what I would like to know is do we have to chop up 2 hoods? or have you guys seen another way to pull this hood swap off?

Why bother with an HD hood? Makes your truck look like it has a brain tumor. Looks ridiculous. Go with a cowl hood, proven good looks on this body style. I have a buddy with one on his dropped '94, looks horrible. Just doesn't look right with the body lines IMO.
