Gauge Lights problem

In my '92 blazer, the gauge lights won't turn on. I have a new dimmer switch and I checked the fuse. They still won't turn on. Does anybody know why they won't turn on?

When you say you have a new dimmer switch, you mean just the wheel portion, since they're separate on the 1988-1994 headlight switch setup? Because the problem is most likely in the headlight switch itself. Try jiggling it off/on a bunch and see if you notice the dash lights flicker on at any point.

I wonder if using an electrical contact cleaner spray from an electronics shop would help?
