Front axle problem.

i have a 93 k3500 and the front axle wont lock in. it has a new actuator and everything else works. anyone have an idea of whats wrong.

Are you sure the transfer is engaging? If so, is there power to the accuator? There is probably a fuse for the accuator, I haven't looked yet on mine though...

the transfer case does engage and there is power to the actuator. the fuse is good to.

Does the actuator actually move? Pull it out and check.

There is only a hand full of reasons it wont engage. Check power to actuator, check actuator itself, check transfer case and linkage, and check the diff itself

What makes you think it's not engaging?

Have you tried giving it a little spin on a gravel road? You should only get one front and one rear tire to spin unless your rear axle has a gov lock. Even then you'll only get two rear and one front...
