Frame Differences Step Side vs Short Bed

Anyone have any experience with the differences if any in the frame of a RCSB and a RC Stepside Bed Frame? Been looking for a 2wd frame for a couple years now and found one but it is a stepside. Anyone know if the frames are the same?

I'm just assuming here but there's people that convert the step sides to a regular bed and some that have done the opposite, so I dnt see there being any difference between the 2 frames

There's no difference in frame. The only difference between stepside and shortbed fleetside is the bed itself (duh), rear bumper (deeper edge cutouts for stepside), and tank filler neck (longer for fleetside.)

Awesome. I did some search and thats what i saw as well. Looks like i might finally have my frame to go from 4wd to 2wd
