Yesterday I picked up a Delco AM/FM, CD
deck out of an 01 GMC Sierra for $50 @ the junkyard. Everything works but the clock doesnt keep time. Any idea's?

Question #2

There is a spot on the back of the deck that looks to be a plug for a tape deck or something, is it possible that an aux plug could be wired in to run an Ipod off of it. Here is a pic of the deck.

I do not have a pic of the extra plug but im hopeing you know what im talking about.

The extra slot is for either a separate CD player (if that were a tap deck) or a CD changer. I'm not sure an iPod AUX can be wired via it, so you'd have to do some more broader googling.

As for the clock not keeping time, I think there's a 12v constant wire that draws a small amount of current to save the time. Or there may be a small battery in the h/u that's supposed to keep the time.
