email subscription

all the threads i have typed in keep sending me email every time there is an update. i have emptied my sub folder but keep getting lots of email. how do i stop it?

I added the GMT400 email address to my junk folder. Now they all go there.

good idea. i cleared the folder and changed everything to not email me but still get tons of email. thanks.

At the very top of the page click the "settings" tab. Then on that page in the third box down on the left under "My Account" click the "general settings" tab. On that page just down from the top is a box is "Default thread subscription mode", click the drop down box and select "Do Not Subscribe". Save the settings and your fixed.

already did that. still getting them. i just sent them to spam. thanks anyway.

That's because all the threads you were already subscribed to before you got them are still subscribed.

You need to go into your subscriptions and unsubscribe from them all.


I cringe every time I sign up for a new forum and it subscribes by default. It shouldn't be that way.
