You need the 2nd one,With the egr.You will fail visual inspection without the egr valve,Yes they do make a block off plate the egr valve would also have to be tuned out.Where at in south jersey are you?

Medford. I get my inspections done at local gas station and i know the guy so visual inspection is not a problem. Im just curious if it actually does anything useful?

People are kinda divided on that...what it does is take some exhaust gas and route it back into the intake so that it can be re-burned and emissions will be better. People who get rid of it say they lose a little mileage, but the intake is a LOT cleaner because there's just clean air going through it...pretty much up to you

I would keep egr valve as well.Im in williamstown,nice to know people from south jersey on here.
