Driver door jamb switch 1994 k1500

Hey guys,

Installing horns and other stuff my buddy wants done on his truck before he gets back from work in AK,

his dome light switch is going out, sticking ect on the driver side, how do i get this out? I know it has prongs on the back that have to be squeezed.. I looked my head under their last night and could not see the switch.

Any easy way to get to it? I tried looking for any info, it must be that simple no one has posted a route to it hahah.

I will have the dash panel out for the switches... wonder if i can see it from there.

My advice... Its already broke. Break the outer piece of it off where it will go back into the dash. Push it back into the dash and unplug it from the bottom. Then fish your wire back thru the hole, plug the new one up, and stick it in. Makes life easy.
