We're not talking about brakes here where one side is worn about the same as the other.

We're talking about a torn CV boot.

Replacing the other side when there's no indication something is wrong is a waste of time, money and aggravation.

Replacing the axle on the torn boot side makes sense when the price difference per PITA factor is considered....

Very true! I think I will just replace the bad side for now haha save money for the gas
