Anyone have a cowl hood with fender flares? Looking at these flares (painted to match - pure white):

I like that look, and those flares! I am going back and forth between the factory flares and the riveted. Theres something about those smooth riveted flares when painted to match the body that just get me ...

I think with the wheels and (slightly) bigger tires I have coming that it will look great. Bigger = better right :D

Thanks for the pics ... Im going for it!

I really don't like the pocket flares, and never will like them. Factory ones would look great on your truck, or just any truck in general. Just my opinion though.

Yeah, the dark tint goes well, too.

On your other thread, how/where did you set up the paint booth? Is it outside?

In the garage ... I will post some pics tomorrow. I just used some plastic and a few squeeze clamps.

I also have a couple of fans pulling air out with a vent in the back, just big enough to get half the truck in at a time. Final few clear coats going on tomorrow.

I ended up finding some rust I wasn’t expecting, so along with the new door I picked up I ordered two new fenders as well ... kinda butt hurt about having to do that but it’s probably for the best.

Where was the rust?

I’d be surprised, too, you hardly ever see it down here.
