This guy is a regular in my store, I forget what year corvette but it's a ls powered with a turbo & nitrous. He drove it 1200 miles to compete getting 24 mpg in the quest to break 200 mph.
Never mind the commentators, he didn't miss a shift, the tires broke lose at the top of 3rd gear at about 100 mph when the nitrous came on.

He's not one of those corvette guys, he's a laid back easy going guy that needs stickier tires.

I have never met a corvette owner who wasn't one of those corvette guys. Then again it probably didn't help that most of them had to hand me their keys so I could go drive/inspect their car. Sometimes I miss being an inspector.
