What is the correct gap for my spark plugs in my 1994 Chevrolet Silverado k1500 with a 5.7 liter engine. I keep finding either .35 or .45 but it doesn’t have electronic injection or anything so I think it’s .35 is this correct?

Greetings davidmcclung576,

Do you still have an emissions calibration sticker like this under the hood?

If so, then this is what to go by. I'll bet that it's .035" for your '94.

Hope this helps --

The owner's manual says 0.035" - what makes you think it doesn't have "electronic ignition"? The distributor and controls are called HEI (High Energy Ignition) and, depending on your coil they should put out as high as 50K Volts or more. Here's the Accel coil (48KV) I used before.

Of course it does, unless it's been changed since it was built. TBI is fuel injection, and it's electronically-controlled. If someone crammed a carburetor on there, things could be different.

Decimal error. 0.035, not 0.350; or whatever the underhood decal says.
