You are really going to have to provide some more info. Easiest way to identify your axle (if you mean the rear) is count the pan bolts, for the front, it depends on how many lug nuts the truck has.

Because its has fallen apart and the yoke of the second driveshaft is sitting on the cross member.

Unbolt the driveline from rear end.
Slide the other end off the carrier bearing.
Unbolt carrier bearing from crossmember

Remove driveline from output of tranny

The carrier bearing will still be attached

Took mine down to the auto store like this to make aure I got the right one

Then took it to driveline shop to press off old and press on the new one

Not sure if you need a press but I didn't feel like screwing with it so I just paid to have it pressed

I am thinking about doing that.

I hate stuff that's pressed on......

The carrier bearing is pressed on and will need a press to remove and re install. Do not risk hammering the driveline out of alignment or balance.

Most parts stores will get you the right carrier bearing if you give them the year make and model of your truck.

Take it to a drive shaft shop if you have one in the area. Last time I needed one replaced, I took it to Fleet Pride, and I think I was out the door for $80-90 parts and labor.
