I know its not a 2500 but how can I tell the difference between a c/k truck?

It happens all the time at my parts store. Another thing that annoys me is people that list their truck for sale as a ck1500 or ck2500. Well, which is it?

Now if only we could teach the morons at the parts stores that.

luckily some parts interchange haha.

a lot of us use 3/4 ton calipers and 1 ton master cylinders... some of the bagged truck owners use k1500 upper ball joints since they are notched for more flex.

i see your point though.. they assume it's all the same stuff.. when clearly it isn't.

There is a pretty sharp group of people at my local O'Reilly's. My shop deals with them almost exclusively.
Never had a problem with them.......at least nothing that they couldn't fix right away.
We do get a few miss boxed parts though. I would lay blame on the manufacturer for that problem.
