Hello friends. I have a big problem, related to the brake light and rear hazard and turn signals... They don't work at all, and the worrying thing is that I didn't get the brake light relay that should be under the hood, as I show in the image.

Who can give me any suggestions? Especially why there is no relay where it should exist, nor is there any cable or connector inside the fuse box...

Why not put the correct relay in and then determine if you have an issue?

I've seen what happens: On the Suburban model, it does NOT use a brake light relay...

^^^ What are you saying, you have a Suburban?

Your sig says "1996 K1500 5.7 RCLB", and you made no mention of the subject vehicle in your original post.

My 1998 K 1500 Suburban DOES have a brake light relay.

^^^ That's interesting b/c the 1998 FSM says it doesn't have a "Stoplamp relay"... if we're talking about the same thing. At least, when I look on pg. 8A-110-1 (2nd page of attached .pdf) it says "Stoplamp relay" - "Except Suburban / Utility"

I actually haven't looked on my 1998 Suburban to see if one's there, I've not had the need.

@josemata00, this wiring diagram (attached) should give you some direction for solving your problem if it applies to your vehicle. Note: If the hazard switch goes bad, a great number of really bizarre behaviors can result; the hazard switch may (or may not) be related to your problem.

For the record, the picture I posted was before he mentioned it was for a Suburban. But, honestly, since I don’t have a Suburban, I didn’t know that. I only posted it so OP could read a part number.
