Unfortunately I didn't come here first, but I like the site. Lots of good guys with good info on here. I'm from North Georgia and have had quite a few GMT400s. Currently the one I drive the most is an old 94 with 300k on it now, original motor. I've had a few Z71 GMT400s, and a few 73-87 and 99+ as well. A 99 Z71 is also a driver, 5.3 with some 285 70 16 Nitto Trail Grapplers on it. I have other non-related vehicles too. I've been a tech since my junior year in highschool. After that I went to an automotive tech school. Not mentioning the name because the place was useless, all it did was let me get my ASEs a few years early. I learned more in the shops I've worked than at the school. I lived in Houston and worked at a turbo Dodge specialty shop. I was a TIII and Maserati specialist there but I worked on all the cars from the T-1 and 2 cars to some Vipers and one really cool turbo Shelby Dakota. I hated the SRT4s but the money was there so I worked on them(cough Mitsupileoffeces cough). From there I went to a Lincoln/Mercury dealership in Kennesaw, GA. I was there until they went out of business. A friend started up a Mustang specialty company and I still work for him. Mostly late models but I see a few classics and Fox bodies now and then. I've also worked as lead tech at a Big 10 Tires in Roswell(out of business) and a entry level(no choice, needed the work) at a Goodyear Gemini in Cartersville. Hopefully I'll be able to help out here, and get help with problems I can't solve. Thanks for the site, I hope to be a long term member.

Welcome, sounds like you have lots of experience, and will be a good addition to GMT400!
