I have a 5 speed 1996 gmc sierra, and im worried that when i go body lift, my shifter will be too short.

Also i am worried when i do the body lift my exhaust and everything will look goofy. lol

Anyone have any comments on either one of these topics?

What size tires are you wanting to run? If you just want to run 33's I'd go with a 2" body lift...less frame hang and less to deal with in terms of install. That extra inch can make a big difference

If you want to run 33s, don't lift at all. a small crank will do fine...

You both are right. I'm running 33's with little to no crank. I would probably put a BL on if I got it cheap.

Agreed. I'm on 285s, lightly cranked, ride is still quite fine, and the angles aren't bad, but I'd BL if I scored one cheap..

Exactly, my 305s fit fine without the BL, but Bobby sold it to me for 20 bucks so I figure why not

im planning on running 33 12.50's but the rims they are on are 10 inches wide so they dont fit well.

i didn't know they made 2" body lifts, does anyone have a link?
