Mt 98 k2500 is down for a while untill I find a decent price on a running 5.7, so I decided to do a few little things in the mean time.
So here is my Pink Floyd front skid with slight reinforcement.
Anyone else done anything to there front skid plate? Let's see them!

That's cool. I always thought the rear diff would be place for a cool heat resistant wrap or some paint too.

I'm thinking van Halen for the rear, or maybe just a nice bow tie. Undecided.

The skid plate will look AWESOME when jumping the truck and getting some air. I will say that I never gave it much thought other than it makes it harder to work on anything underneath.

But since you have the time why not do some Upgrades.

Regardless, hope you had fun doing it. It's nice to do a small tinker project like that once in awhile. I know I have tons of projects that are kind of a big undertaking for my lack of free time. So every now and then I like to do something like that, too.
