1998 4l60E Torque Converter Question
Ok so I've read that the 1998 4l60e does not fully lock the TC when cruising at highway speeds. The computer controls the locking and that it locks only 90% for leisure of the customer. Well in order to make a TC last, gm built it from carbon or Kevlar I can't quite remember. My point is that when I go to my 411 swap, would I need to go to an older TC (97,96) or would a 98 be ok? When I eventually go to a stall would it matter then? Last, can you even program a 411 for a full lock since it's from a new vehicle? Thanks for imput
