There is no other parts. Its just a straight shaft from the joint at the bottom of the column thru the boot.

The shaft itself don't have anywhere to have play does it? Its gotta be in that joint inside unless the bolt in the slip joint there under the hood is loose.

Mine is doing pretty much exactly the same thing. I wonder if there is a bearing in the firewall that is worn. It seems to me like something should be holding the shaft firm through the firewall.

Mine has been sloppy as well and I have the body lift w/extended shaft

I was wondering when/if anyone was gunna post a fix for us newer style steering s.h1ts I mean shafts
