98 gmc sierra keeps blowing ecm 1 fuse

I have a 1998 gmc sierra 5.0 vortec that blows the ecm 1 fuse once you crank it for a little, when I unplug the fuel injector plug at the top of the engine the fuse does not pop anymore, is there a short in that wiring or could it be from the injectors themselves?

Look for abrasions or damage on the harness, where metal may have rubbed through to the wire.
