that's a long time to install a lift... you could've had it done by now. If you had the time I mean

Well its not only the lift, basically the entire front end is being blown apart, the trans is getting work done to it, the rear end is getting worked and its getting the right timing chain cover put on it. Probably have a couple day delay because of the weather too. The hold up right now is waiting for the place to make my brake lines. But I havent had the time to do it, probably would have been next week before I would have finally been able to mess with the front end.

I'm still excited though.

I bought the ring and pinion and the rear diff rebuild kit tonight. Gotta wait for it to come in on our hub truck tomorrow at the store I work at and take it to the guy doing the work to the front end and trans. The trans is being built a little bit too.

3.73s will have me 50 rpm off from stock so it should be close enough. If not I'll be looking into that

Your not the only one. I'm ready to be driving it again.
Trust me it'll be off more than you think. Mine reads 83mph when I'm doing 70

I'm changing tires at the same time too. 28" tire with 3:08's vs 32.8 with 3:73's is nearly identical rpm range. According to all the research I've done, anyways. Won't know until its actually all back together.

So apparently I dont have the original engine in my truck. The crank has a bearing on it, meaning it came out of a truck that had a manual trans. From what we can tell without diving into it, its a pre 87 engine with the original 95 tbi top end
