Picked up a couple rattle cans and started messing with the old grill.
Not going all out on it, just a little refresh.

*Old Grill refresh update*
Cleaned up the old side markers with some 3000 and shot them with clear.
Turned out ok considering how beat up they were...

Figured why not 3000 and clear the grill too right?

Wrong.

Completly over did it and may have ruined the entire thing. So sanded it down with 100, and sprayed it with 2 coats of filler primer.

Going to let that set up for a couple days, and then try to smooth it out with some 400. Shoot the black again CAREFULLY...and leave it be.

The steering wheel may take column disassembly if it's a tilt column and the top portion got assembled upside down.
Ask me how I know...:p
Also you can dispose of either grille @ my house and I will make sure it is recycled following all Federal, State , and Local regulations.
And if you deliver, I can weld that floor patch in for you.

It is a tilt column...hope it is just the steering wheel but guess we will soon find out!
Funny about the grill, I'm starting to like the chrome one now!
Took the truck to my place now so hope to start wrenching on it more soon.
Found out the 4x4 isn't working so going to check the actuator.
