It's been raining its A$$ off today!

Took a peek inside and discovered water leaking from the top (middle) of the windshield and around the top of rear window in various places.

The windshield has a quarter sized rust bubble forming over the leak so will have to address that along with the rust repair on the floor boards. Hoping that I can just reseal the windshield and the rear window with something good that won't look like crap but still last a long time. (recommendations welcome)

Have to admit that I'm really liking the dark red paint on the roof of the cab instead of the headliner. It's really clean looking and I don't mind seeing the little 4x6s on the rear pillar. We'll see how bad the NVH is as we get further into the build but for now I will leave her naked.

Ordered the cowl to hood seal so will get that area sorted out and the inside glass seal next. Then comes my first lesson in rust repair...
Will keep the photos coming, and continue to share the wins and fails!

UPDATE

Started with wire wheel attachment on drill, then went to angle grinder. Passenger side was spared but driver side wasn't so fortunate. Will need to cut out and weld in a patch. Too bad I don't have a welder!

Ordered a fresh grill to replace the stock one I spray painted black 20 years ago. Also ordered some new lights...
Thought it was cool to see the stock air intake behind the park light
