Looking to see what some or yours looks like mounting wise in your trucks. Does the transmission mount from the tail housing itself or from the base of transmission itself like in this picture. TIA Mike

not sure if this helps, it's a 91. It has spacers from the flip kit I did.
But if I understand your question properly, and I hope I do. It mounts to the tranny, not the tail shaft.

I don't think the tail shaft housing is strong enough but, here's my 88. see the trans mount to the left.
