6L80/6L90 swap

[Old 96]

Anybody gave these 6L transmissions a try in the older trucks?

For anyone thinking about this swap and keeping the 4l60e neutral safety switch, it is fairly easy to make it work.

You will need a 10mm x 1.5 rod coupling, a cut down selector shaft from the 4l60 and a 3/8 tall bushing.
