I'm in the market for a C1500 truck, Burb, or Tahoe/Yukon for daily driver duty. I'd love a truck like your coworker's rig. Shame I'm so damn picky, and nothing local really fits my bill.

Lmao, I was on the way out and spotted that Escalade, I was really hoping for the bezel, but this was better

I got the same OH console for Frank but mine has the heater controls. I'm on the fence about using them to send more heat to the back. I'm planning to add rear heat to the custom console and a rear defroster blower. If anyone needs the controls I will trade for a blank panel.

Turns out i didn’t have to remove the threshold piece on the floor or the plastic kick panel trim. I removed it at the junkyard because I didnt know better. The assembly is bolted with 3 13mm bolts where I have circled. They are kinda tough to get to, but it’s done and works perfect now!

Next I decided to upgrade the map lights in the console with LEDs

I turned it upside down and removed the screws

Got it separated to expose the back of the map lights

Took the light apart so I could remove the old 194 bulb and replace with LED
