i was just curious as to what would need to be done to the ifs of a k2500ld to make it a k2500hd....(6 lug to 8 lug)

8 lug wheel hubs for the ifs and 8 lug axels swapped in the rear end that way you keep the same gearing.

but dont the hubs of an 8 lug have 4 bolts to mount and the 6lugs have 3??

i belive the 3/4 ton setup is three bolts

alright...im just not too sure cuz when u go to buy the 8 lug hub at autozone its 4....sounds like ill have to do more research! thankyou for the help!

I believe there is adapters available for this as well, keep the 6 bolt hub, and the adapter goes between it and the 8 bolt wheel, widens your stance a little tohugh.
