5th wheel hitch with a C notch

i am wanting to install a 5th wheel hitch to pull a toy hauler camper we are wanting. can this be mounted on the frame with the c notch.

That depends on the notch. Is it a deep one that goes above the original frame? Or does it only cut into the frame?

Also depends on where the 5th wheel mounts. They're installed just forward of the axle centerline, so if the mounts extend around (front and back of) the notch, and can be bolted to OE frame, then you're good to go.

Its impossible to tell until you figure out what hitch you want to buy, and tell us what notch you have.

You can still use a fifth wheel either way, but @Nad_Yvalhosert is correct, how you go about it will be different. With a monster notch you'll need to mount the plate on a bridge, but with a regular notch you can mount it as you normally would.
