Quick specs on the truck
95' 2wd 5 speed (AR5) transmission and a built 383. Promaxx heads, 236/240 hydraulic roller .550ish lift. Carb motor with a Holley street avenger 770.

Just got a dragy unit. Found a safe road and did a couple pulls. Best E.T I could get was 14.16 at 94.56 with a very sad 2.45s 60 foot.

Another run I got a 14.38 at 100.21 and a worse 2.52s 60 foot.

Obviously, traction is an issue. It just blows the 275's off through 1st gear. Best 0-60 I got was 5.71s

This all sound about right? I know its a 4000lb truck. So I can't expect much. But man, I think stock early 2000 camaros were running mid to low 13's

That 100 mph should put you mid 13's. You gotta learn how to launch it.
Yes, 4th gen Camaros were faster than your truck, but not by much. You got a long throw transmission and are struggling to launch it. Those are et killers.

Aside from traction, what are your AFRs during the run? Are KCs pulling timing?

Doubtful given his mph, but possible. Mph indicates power, et shows chassis setup and driver ability.
The numbers given would indicate around 300 whp, which seems about right to me for the combo he listed.
Certainly ain't gonna hurt to find out what's going on with the afr and timing though.
