I'm fixing a 99 5.7 Tahoe.
Got the engine running now.
It idles very smoothly but when I'm reving it and let of the gas it's dying.

Ideas?

No mods known. I guess it's the first pump.
Will monitor full pressure while reving.
MAP sensor?

I put two cans of liqui moly valve cleaner and two cans of hydraulic lifter cleaner in and it runs.
Fuel pressure 50 psi constantly.
Checked the injectors, all working, with the cylinder load test (or how is it called properly)

Fuel pressure balance test doesn't work or I don't know how to perform that.

I hooked the gauge to the service port and tried running the test. I'm messing up something.
Have to get an instruction.

On a autel scanner I've used the fp balance test is pretty straight forward. Once you click the icon. the setting displayed injectors 1 through 8. You click each injector and turned the key to the on position you'll hear it click rise pressure then drop back to a lower pressure. Example 58psi click 52psi. Your pressure for that injector is 52psi. Then follow it to the last injector. Your hoping to find the oddball or one that doesnt match with the rest. The down fall of the autel is you physically have to cycle the key on and off for each injector test. Other scanners I've seen do it automatically where it will cycle each injector and all you have to do is write it down. Make sense?

So I did the test.
Pretty much the same for all 8 injectors.
52psi -> 42psi

I changed the crankshaft sensor because I had a new one and it threw P0341.
Haven't driven the beauty yet.
