I'm looking into harsh/bump 2-3 upshift after rebuilding my 4L60E. One recommendation was to make sure to reset the Transmission Adaptive Pressure tables. Since this is a black box 5.7 Vortec, I have no programming equipment or knowledge of how to do that. Does anyone happen to know?
the batt was disconnected for days, if that were all that is needed to reset PCM's TAP.

It could be a worn a acumulator in the valve body and they are notorious for leaking at the pin causing rough shifts. Sonax makes some billet replacements that are inexpensive enough and eliminate harsh shifts.

Did you rebuild the unit yourself?

A Snapon scanner should be able to monitor and reset TAP values. Any professional mechanic shop worth a **** should have one.
