With my new rebuild, I added a valve body with all of the sonnax upgrades and a 4.3 torque converter (DCNF 1800-2000 stall). It cycles in and out of lockup when cruising with light throttle. If I give it a tiny bit more throttle, it will stay locked. I fixed this before with the transgo valve.

I don't think I can install the transgo valve since the sonnax upgrade reams the bore out. Does anyone know for certain? I assume that the 4.3 pcm is tuned differently than a 5.7 as far as lockup is concerned. Maybe some tuning will fix this? I have a tuner, but I'm not sure what tables to modify? I could just raise the lockup mph but I'd like to solve this the right way. Any thoughts?

Check your TPS feedback to the PCM. If it goes below a certain % it will unlock the TCC too (at least it does on earlier year trucks)
