Howdy all! New to the forum. Hope ya'll are doing well and runnin' on all cylinders... Got myself into something I really wasn't ever looking to do, a 4l60e rebuild. Upon disassembly of a somewhat recently rebuilt 1999 4l60e, I came across worn engagement cogs on the 3-4 fiber plates. Everything else appears to be in pretty good shape. Any ideas on what would cause this kind of wear? See pics. Gracias!

I'm suspecting hard shift, too. Is a donor out of 1999 Astro, so most likely no shift kit. Haven't gone through valve body, yet. Haven't experienced this transmission in action, yet. Came out of dead Astro. Was said to have been rebuilt, but you know how that goes....
