I've been running stock 265's with 4.56 for the past 6 months. Now around town and messing around its nice. But highway youll get your doors blown off, 60-65 at 2400-2500 rpm is it. You can push a little more but once you get to like 2700+ it cuts off. Thats if your warmed up if the motor is cold gotta go like 50-55 till the rpms settle down. Oh and mpg is 11-12 town or highway.

Yeah they just raised the speed limit on a lot of highways to 75 mph, so I need gearing that will keep me from getting run over. Im going with a 295/75/16 which is about 33.4" tall for now. The 4.10 sound like a good choice, but I dont want it to be a dog if/when I go to 35's

The 4.10s won't bog down on 35's. My cousin is running 4.10's in 35's and it feels pleny powerful. You'll be fine with 4.10's. It'll be slightly under geared for the 35's but you won't notice.

Did any stock 10 bolt come with 4.56s? I desperately want to lift mine....90chevstepside I really wnt mine to look like yours but thats wayyy down the road. I was just going to do 33s on my 3.42s but ultimately I want to go with 35s. It would be a hell of alot easier to swap in 4.56s rear. So if there is, let me know!

Not that I know of. Highest stock ratio was 4.10, and I feel cool, someone likes my truck.

haha. Yea man, I have a RCSB silvy and want to black it out like yours and lift it but urs loooks sweet and all. Wish I didnt have to do a gear swap to lift it. I already have the BL for the truck but stilll would need tires and gears....ugghh!!

I did mine up cheap.

Craigslist find for brand new RCX lift still in boxes $700
4 37x13.5/17 Pro-Comp X-Terrains 1/2 tread $400 also on Cl
4 17x9 ballistic jesters $468 shipped to my door
Gears $60
Install of gears $200.

I put the lift on myself which saved a lot of mullah.

I drove for 8 months with 37's on 3.42's. It was hell on the transmission but it worked for a while. I don't recommend it, but if you need to get by for a month or so, it's not a big deal, just a huge loss of power and fuel economy.
